Administrative Associate 2 Part Time $23.46 per hour

Positions in this classification typically perform a variety of routine work following established guidelines at a level of complexity represented by the following types of responsibilities;
Answers telephones, routes calls and takes messages; greets and directs visitors to appropriate locations; responds to routine questions; processes, sorts and distributes mail; schedules meetings and conference rooms for outside agencies; types memos, letters and reports prepared by other staff; provides phone & in-person information on bus and ferry schedules and connecting county bus and ferry systems; receives comments about services; makes photo IDs.
Creates routine reports, charts, graphs and spreadsheets; copies and distributes materials; assemble packets and maintains hard copy and electronic records and files. Oversees office copier functionality, replaces printer toner, fixes paper jams and calls for repairs.
Under direction, assists with the Rideshare and Smart Commuter Program; maintains the database, processes applications, inputs, organizes and analyzes information, and prepares and distributes communication pieces.
Maintains supplies for various office machines.
Assists with special projects and promotional events on-site and off-site as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school graduation/GED and one year of lobby or reception experience which also includes clerical experience.

  • Complete tasks independently with limited oversight
    ADA AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
    Positions in this class typically require: dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard and other equipment, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
    Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
